Custom Nether Mobs

List of added mobs: The default nether mobs, such as pigmen, wither skeletons, ghasts, blaze, and magma cubes, all continue to spawn naturally. Some default mobs such as the pigmen, wither skeletons, and ghasts have modifications.

Alpha Pigman

The Alpha Pigman, who is King of all the pigmen, can be identified by his golden crown and diamond sword.

Health Points: 20
Armor Points: 2
Attack Strength: 8
Special: Blinds player for a few seconds

Drops:
Diamond Sword 10% chance
Blinding I Sword 3.8% chance
Blinding II Sword 3.8% chance
Haste Bottle, Splash, or Lingering Potions

Behavior: The mob is neutral and will not attack, unless attacked first. It is rare and only has 12% chance of spawning.

Fireball

The Fireball is a ranged undead hostile monster. It can be identified by its red, orange, and yellow flame coloring on it's head.

Health Points: 20
Ranged Attack Strength: 3 - 4
Melee Attack Strength: 2
Special: Fire Resistance

Drops:
Bones 0 - 2
Arrows 0 - 2
Bow 8.5% chance
Experience 5-8 points

Behavior: The Fireball is equipped with a bow which shoots small fireballs. It also emits flame and lava particles from it's body due to its searing heat.

Inferno

The Inferno is a scary mob as it consists of a floating eye without a body that flies around. Due to its ability to fly, it can be hard to find where the mob is as it is well camouflaged for the environment of the Nether.

Health Points: 3
Armor Points: 2
Attack Strength (only if touched directly, which is rare since it flys): 3
Ranged Fire Damage: 2/second
Special: Fire Resistance

Drops:
Experience 12-15 points

Behavior: The mob is aggressive and will attack players by burning them with their gaze from afar. To avoid its fiery gaze, crouch and sneak around.

Molten

The Molten is a hostile being made of lava that emits embers as it moves.

Health Points: 20
Armor Points: 8
Attack Strength: 3
Fire Damage: 2/second
Special: Fire Resistance

Drops:
Experience 5-8 points

Behavior: The Molten turns the ground that it walks on into magma and fire. Touching it will burn you for 3 seconds at a time.

Necromancer

The fierce Necromancer is a ranged undead hostile monster with a bow which shoots wither skulls. It can be identified by its similarity in looks to the Wither Skeleton but the Necromancer has a larger head and a bow instead of the skeleton's sword.

Health Points: 20
Armor Points: 4
Attack Strength: 8
Ranged Attack Strength: 8 + Explosion Damage
Fire Damage: 2/second
Special: Wither II

Drops:
Wither Splash or Lingering Potion
Experience 5-11 points

Behavior: The wither skull magic attack causes a massive amount of damage and inflicts the Wither II effect for 10 seconds. Like other status effects, this can be cured by drinking milk. While this mob should be avoided for your safety, they do drop Wither Skulls which can be used to spawn the Wither boss which is needed to craft a beacon.

Old Shadow

The Old Shadow is a hostile ghost. It cannot be identified via sight because it is invisible, but it makes a characteristic hurt horse sound.

Health Points: 20
Armor Points: 2
Attack Strength: 3
Special: Invisible + Wither + Blindness

Drops:
Experience 5 points

Behavior: If the player is in a dark area, the ghost will be able to haunt you! It poisons you with the Wither effect and blinds you. If the player is in an area with plentiful light, the ghost will spook you by blowing out all your torches and other nearby light sources!

Sadness

The Sadness is an invisible ghost which is very hard to find as it doesn't move much because it is hunched over crying. It shrieks when hit.

Health Points: 20 *2.5 => 50 equivalent
Armor Points: 2
Attack Strength: 3
Special: Invisible

Drops:
Experience 5 points

Behavior: As you approach, it's cries turn to growls. When it takes damage, it hunts the player with increasing speed.

The Sherogath is the manifestation of a glitch in the matrix, a living error.

Special: Corrupting Lag

Drops:
Experience 12 points

Behavior: As it touches you, you will lose control of yourself and experience lag due to your computer struggling to process its corrupt data.

Hard Ghasts

The default Ghast mob has been enhanced with fireballs that fly faster and yield a larger explosion making it much harder to dodge the attacks! The Ghast also goes on the defensive by sometimes becoming invisible after firing at players.
